Profile - Tom Horn

Having lived in the French Alps since 1997, sports, especially skiing has been very accessible, and I have certainly made the most of it. I was a member of the Les Arcs ski race team for seven years competing at a national level in Slalom, GS and super G. In 2000 I competed for the first time in a speed skiing event, the Junior French championships, I enjoyed it and won the event beating all the other competitors including members of the French speed skiing team, I competed in 2001, winning again. In 2006 I decided to have a go at speed skiing again. I entered the French open and qualified to compete in the World championships, I finished 5th setting a new British record which is still standing.
