Profile - Oliver Davies

2013/14 is Ollie Davies third year as a member of the British Ski Team, and his first as a FIS athlete, following two strong seasons as a member of the British Children’s Team. Ollie is one of a select few who have graduated to the Under 18’s Squad, thanks in part to a successful season that saw him win the English Championship Title, amongst other accolades.

A strong all-round athlete who competes at a high level in multiple sports, Ollie has spent the past 4 seasons as a member of the Ski Club Montchavin-les-Coches, training from his family home in La Plagne. From 2013 onwards Ollie will be based in Austria in order to join the strategic programme offered by Team Evolution, allowing him to work alongside numerous other British Team athletes and balance his training and academic requirements.

Ollie is an exciting technical discipline specialist who has also shown promise with results in Super-G and Ski Cross, including a standout 2^nd place result at the French National Championships. As one of the members of the small group of elite Junior athletes trained by Team Evolution, Ollie is looking forward to the challenge of adding more speed experience to his programme, and continuing to succeed at both a British & International level.
