Coming from a skiing background, Pete found love for the sport riding at the Sheffield Ski Village dry slope through his teens. After skiing abroad in Laax, Switzerland and entering his first international halfpipe comp, he left school at 18 and was inspired to take his skiing as far as possible.

Travelling, skiing and competing for a couple of years, he then managed to get a sport scholarship to the University of Manchester where he was able to continue skiing whilst studying. Making the jump up to World Cup level in 2013, Pete has been driven to continue pushing himself and his skiing to be the best he can be, become one of the best halfpipe skiers in the world, and compete in events such as the Winter Olympics and Winter X Games at the pinnacle of the sport.

Further into the future he would love to pursue his own film projects and explore different aspects of the mountain such as the backcountry. Pete finished studying in 2016 graduating with a History BA and is now skiing full time.

Thanks to family, friends, coaches, sponsors, lottery funding and all the people who have supported Pete along the way!
