Zach Hall

I started skiing back when I was 4 yrs old, after my parents moved from the UK to France. I was 7, when a coach spotted me on the hill and invited me to join the local ski-club in “St Jean D’aulps". At the age of 13, I was offered a place at one of the main ski academies in Chamonix.

At the same time, I spent hours a day on the internet daydreaming about a future in ski racing. I stumbled upon the Stratton Mountain School, and after sending some emails to the U.S (initially without my parents knowledge), I was accepted to SMS as a full term student.

For a young mountain goat living in the Alps, an American ski academy seemed like the best to be. The school has provided me with the excellent opportunity to focus, train, and compete at an elite level while earning a valuable education.

This upcoming season I will be competing as a 1st year U19 on the North American FIS circuit, proud to be representing GBR. My long-term goals are to compete on the World Cup circuit.
