Update On BSS U16 Squad 2014/15

We are part of the way through the selection process for the BSS U16 Alpine Squad, and it is appropriate to provide an update in three areas.

First the selectors have reviewed the original decision not to publish the names of athletes invited to trial. This original decision was based on a review of comments relating to last year’s process, but after some representations, the selectors felt on balance that the list of names should be published. It is as follows. There were a small number of original invitees who are not able to take up the invitation and they have been excluded from this list.

Second the Snowsport Scotland weekend took place as planned, and BSS will be reviewing the results of Athletic Capacity Evaluation once the Snowsport England weekend has taken place. The Snowport England weekend takese place on May 17^th and 18^th.

Third the selectors will look to announce their final decisions either at the end of the week starting May 19^th or at the start of the week after
