Job Description

British Ski and Snowboard Park and Pipe, (BSS PnP), is a new programme for a sport that already has World and, more recently, Olympic recognition.

We are offering a new opportunity for an innovative, motivated experienced, individual to fill a Talent Pathway Manager position in the new BSS Park and Pipe programme. This person will require a diverse skill set that includes performance system and coach education awareness. At the same time, they will need to have an understanding of the capacity of social media and experience of multi-discipline project management . Interacting with media houses and commercial operations such as Red Bull will be a key part of this role. .

The candidates will expect to have freesport knowledge; in this role you will need to combine an understanding of freesport culture to create and develop an innovative, dynamic, sustainable integrated athlete pathway that will deliver World and Olympic medal success.

You will be responsible for the implementation of robust staff and athlete recruitment and selection processes.  In addition you will be creating, culturally valid, integrated, individualised athlete training environments to cement the ongoing development of the British Park and Pipe

You will also take the lead on partnership work with Home Nation Governing Bodies and support the vision and strategies of those programmes run by the Home Nations.

The successful candidate will ideally have a knowledge of developing talent identification programmes at an elite level.  A strong awareness of working with high performance coaches and support staff to lead and develop an athlete pathway.

Critical to success will be the ability to absorb and work within a sport that has a unique culture that will require strong creative skills as well as a robust scientific grounding.
