Ryding misses out, top 50 finishes in Cross Country and a busy week for Snowboard Cross and Alpine
In Alpine Skiing, Dave Ryding was skiing well at the Kranjska Gora World Cup Slalom yesterday, but a mistake on the final section of the course meant he narrowly failed to make the second run and cost him what would have been a great result in his last World Cup of the season.
In the Cross Country World Cup in Oslo, Andrew Musgrave finished in 53rd place in the Men’s 50km and Fiona Hughes finished in 50th in the Women’s 30km.
Today sees Zoe Gillings, Stephanie Gehrig and Thomas Bankes compete in the Snowboard Cross World Cup in Veysonnaz in Switzerland. Qualification takes place today with the finals running tomorrow.
In Alpine Skiing, the Europa Cup takes place this week in Soldeu, Andorra. Dave Ryding competes on Wednesday in the Slalom with TJ Baldwin and Dougie Crawford racing in Super G on Thursday and Friday, and the Downhill at the weekend.
