One Team to Sochi : GB Freestyle Snowboard and GBFreeski web based video series released today
With a month to go until the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, British Ski and Snowboard have today released a trailer for their 12 part web based video series featuring the GB Freestyle Snowboard and GBFreeski Teams.
Following life on the road of all the top British names in Freeski and Freestyle Snowboarding, ‘One Team to Sochi’ will give viewers an insight into the minds of Sochi hopefuls including James Woods, Katie Summerhayes, Ben Kilner, Jamie Nicholls and Aimee Fuller.
Primarily filmed in Colorado as the teams prepared for their first World Cup of the season, the series will include profiles and interviews with the top stars. The final three episodes in the series are a three part documentary focusing on how both the two teams train together, travel together and support each other on and off the hill.
The videos will be released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from Wednesday 8th January until Friday 24th January. They can be watched on the British Ski and Snowboard, GB Freestyle Snowboard and GB Freeski Facebook pages as well as the GB Freestyle Snowboard YouTube channel, and many of the main UK based ski and snowboard websites. There will also be alerts on Twitter when the videos are live and Retweets are encouraged using the hashtags #GBParkandPipe, #RoadtoSochi and #OneTeam
