One Team to Sochi: Final episode today of GB Park and Pipe team video series

Throughout January, British Ski and Snowboard have released a 12 part web based video series featuring the GB Park and Pipe Team. The final episode out today sees the team discuss the natural progression of freestyle competitions and what competing means to them.

The final episode is the last one in a  three-part longer documentary which gives a unique insight to how the GB Park and Pipe team train and travel together, how they deal with the risk taking, injury and rehab and their take on the development of freestyle.

With six snowboarders and six freeskiers from the team having earned their place on Team GB for Sochi 2014, the video series is a great way to gain a better understanding of how the athletes train and prepare for competitions. Additionally, the first eight episodes are dedicated to an athlete per episode and allow viewers to get to know the athletes and what motivates them. The athlete episodes feature GB Freeski athletes James ‘Woodsy’ Woods, Katie Summerhayes and Murray Buchan and GB Freestyle Snowboard athletes Ben Kilner, Jamie Nicholls, Dom Harington Aimee Fuller and Billy Morgan.
