Jack Gower on the Podium in North America

A fantastic result for Delancey British FIS-EC Squad racer Jack Gower in the North American Cup GS race at Stowe Mountain yesterday. It was a personal best Nor-am result for Jack, who finished 6th overall and claimed top of the podium as the fastest Junior in the race.

Jack’s coach Craig Branch said of the outstanding result:

Overall today was a great performance on all fronts from Jack against a strong field of racers. On a challenging hill with tough, icy, bumpy conditions Jack managed to hold his own against many other older and higher ranked skiers. A solid first run saw Jack sitting in 9th position, he managed to hold his nerve and with a strong second run moved forward into 6th position overall, a great day! Full credit to Jack for this performance, his hard work and dedication is paying off and we look forward to building from this result and moving forward.
