Double podiums for Delancey British Alpine Team Racers

Double wins for Delancey British Alpine skiers  as Alex Tilley and Charlie Raposo take top spots on the podium at Copper Mountain

British racers Alex Tilley and Charlie Raposo stormed the competition at yesterday’s Giant Slalom at Copper Mountain, USA, scoring fantastic FIS points in the process.

Alex won the ladies FIS race, fighting off competition heavily dominated by the home nation and scoring an amazing 19 FIS points.

Then in the men’s race, Raposo, one of the youngest athletes finishing in the top 20, won the race beating US racer Ankeny by 0.23, and making an incredible 13.99 FIS point result.

Charlie summed up the double British podium with, “I’m pretty stoked with the result”.
