Competition kicks off at Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun with Brits in action tomorrow

Today saw the start of the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun, Sweden, which is expected to attract over 175,000 spectators over the 12 days of action.

For the British Cross Country Ski Team, action kicks off tomorrow with Andrew Young competing in the Men’s Classic Sprint and Posy Musgrave and Sarah Hale in the Women’s Classic Sprint.

The rest of the action for the British athletes is as follows:

Saturday 21^st February – Men’s Skiathlon – Andrew Young and Andrew Musgrave

Sunday 22^nd February – Ladies Team Sprint – Posy Musgrave and Sarah Hale

Tuesday 24^th February – Ladies 10km Freestyle – Posy Musgrave

Wednesday 25^th February – Men’s 15km Freestyle – Andrew Young and Andrew Musgrave

Sunday 1^st March – Men’s 50km Classic – Andrew Musgrave
