Alpine World Junior Championships kick off in Norway, Telemark World Cup in Switzerland and Cross Country World Cup in Finland
Tomorrow sees action begin in the Alpine World Junior Championships in Hafjell, Norway. The first race is the Ladies GS tomorrow, with Delancey team skiers Cara Brown, Anna Henderson, Alice MacAulay and Darcie Mead competing for Great Britain. The Championships run until 13th March and all the action from the 12-strong British squad can be followed on the @TeamBSS Twitter feed or on the FIS website – www.fis-ski.com
Andrew Musgrave and Andrew Young continue their busy season on the Cross Country circuit, both competing in the Freestyle Sprint and 15km Classic on Saturday and Sunday at the Lahti World Cup in Finland. They will then move onto Drammen in Norway for the City Sprint next Thursday.
Following her bronze medal at the recent Telemark World Championships in Steamboat Springs, Jasmin Taylor is joined by teammates James French, Jasper Taylor and Fred Thomas in the next World Cup in Thyon, Switzerland which starts today until Sunday.
Next week is jam packed with action for BSS athletes, including the Ski Halfpipe World Cup in Tignes starting Wednesday, Ski Slopestyle World Cup in Silvaplana on Friday and Saturday and the Ski Cross World Cup Finals in Megeve on Friday and Saturday. Tuesday sees Ellie Koyander continue her campaign to try and secure the overall Europa Cup Moguls title in Finland.
