British Champs Brtish Ladies Super G Podium

The Delancey British National Alpine Ski Championships got off to a very quick start on Sunday, with the Super G taking place in near perfect conditions, despite minimal snow cover over the season.

Out of 30 starters, 23 completed the course, and Sole was presented with the Sir John Ritblat Super G trophy, with a time of 1:21.17 seconds.  Team Ambition also had a great race, with Elena Polock and Imogen Taylor finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the British class.

The men's race was won by the Pole Maciej Bydlinski, with a time of 1:15.93 seconds. Seeded second in the competition, Bydlinski beat Great Britain's TJ Baldwin by just 400th of a second. Bradley Morgan of the Kanderah Ski Team was the best performing non-team Britain, finishing in a time of 1:17.79, whilst Roy-Alexander Steudle was presented with the British Under-18 Shield after completing the course in 1:19.74.
