Big Freestyle Aerial Win for Elodie Wallace
Another fantastic result from the GB team with Elodie Wallace winning her first FIS Junior Freestyle Aerial event this weekend. Elodie's front-tuck and back-layout somersaults off the water-jump earned her some outstanding points with the judges and a first place on the podium.
The FIS Freestyle Aerial event took place at the Swiss National Aerial Training Centre in Mettmenstetten on Sunday 19th August. Elodie has been training with the Quebec team in Lac Beauport, Canada, this summer, and all her hard work has paid off as the event in Switzerland also saw her rank 7th in the adult FIS event alongside World Cup competitors.
Elodie said 'I only got my licence a week ago and I was really expecting to come last, but everything seemed to click into place on the day. Woop'.
