Whelan enjoys a successful finish to the season

British Ski Cross Team athlete Pete Whelan finished his season off in style with a second place at the Czech National Champs.

Pete pushed Tomas Kraus, the former World No. 1 and the man nick named Mr. Ski Cross all the way in a tight final at the Czech National Championships held at Spindleruv Mlyn. This was a significant result for Pete who said afterwards, "It really helps my world ranking out for next season was a good way to finish off season after qualifying twice in the last three world cups."
