Selection Criteria for the 2011/2012 British Snowboard Team are Now Available!
The selection criteria for the British Freestyle and Snowboard Cross teams for season 2011/2012 are now available and we would like to invite you to officially apply if you wish to be considered for selection.
Both selection documents can be found by clicking here and please see below for some brief notes on the selection process:
Snowboard Cross
If you took part in the selection consideration event in Laax in March, you will still need to officially apply to be considered for selection. If you did not take part in the selection consideration event in Laax in March, you can still apply to be considered for selection, however in this case you may be asked to submit video footage to support your application.
Freestyle
In order to be considered for selection you must meet the technical standards set out in the Freestyle selection document. Athletes who meet this standard and wish to be considered for selection should submit an official application.
If you wish to apply to be considered for selection for either team, please email Lynsey Hamilton via hamiltonl@teamgb.com by no later than Friday 30th September 2011. In your email please state the team you wish to be considered for and outline how you meet the criteria set out in the relevant selection policy. if you have links to related video footage, please include these aswell. Please note if you do not respond to this selection invite, you will not be considered.
