World Cup Podium for Gillings

Britain's snowboard cross golden girl, Zoe Gillings, has taken Bronze in yesterday's penultimate World Cup Event.

Gillings from The Isle of Man put in 3 outstanding runs in the Swiss resort of Arosa, to add to the success of her Double Gold triumph earlier this month in Gressoney.

In the quarter final it was all in the superb start, with Zoe finishing 3rd to seal her place in the semi's.  Her semi final performace was even better, not only did she finish in 2nd place, she also managed to knock out Lindsey jacobellis, the world number 1 in the process.  Gillings continued to shine in the final, beating the odds to take Bronze after a faulty start gate meant she was slow to get away.

After these fantastic performances, all eyes will be on Zoe in next weeks World Cup Final Round, which will also take place in Arosa.
