Top British Official at Freestyle World Championships

Iain Mackay will be the Technical Delegate (TD) for both the Moguls and Aerials events at the Freestyle Ski World Championships in Deer Valley USA (2nd - 5th February). The TD is the Guy that makes sure the course is the ideal arena in which the athletes can perform. He makes sure that it's safe, the right, size, shape and gradient etc and runs according to the rule book. An unsung posiiton but integral to the success of any competition.

Iain a former Freestyle athlete has been involved in the organisational side for nearly 30 years and was there at the birth of modern Freestyle Skiing. Not only is he tasked at officiating at World level events he represents GB on FIS committees and is a powerful voice on how the sport develops and is a great advocate of GB Skiing.
