Jenny Jones Scoops Silver at Winter X Games

Jenny has taken home a silver medal from this year's invitation only event in Colorado, USA, adding to her gold medal success of the past two years.  Although she led from the outset with a score of 89.33 from her first run, Jenny was narrowly beaten to the gold by Finnish snowboarder Enni Rukjarvi's final run score of 92.66.

It says a lot that Jenny was slightly disappointed with her silver at such a prestigious event, however the 30 year old from Bristol is looking forward with high hopes to the Euro X games in Tignes, France on 16-18th March, where she also took gold last year.  With Jenny's snowboarding discipline Slopestyle having the potential to be announced as a new Olympic sport, Britain's medal hopes for Sochi 2014 have also been given a boost.
