Bronze for Woods at Winter X Europe

Britain's James Woods has today taken Bronze in the men's Ski Slopestyle at the Winter X Europe, in Tignes, France.

Woods from Sheffield, South Yorkshire came out top after his first run with an amazing score of 89.66, completing a Right Side Double Twirl 60 Mute, even after struggling during training.  He was then narrowly beaten by Canada's JF Houle who scored 94.33 on his 2nd run to take the Gold and Andreas Hatveit from Austria who also pulled out his top score of 92.33 on his 2nd run to take the Silver medal.

This is a fantastic result for the British athlete, made even more special by the fact that it is Britain's first ever podium finish at a Winter X Europe.
