A Flying Start to the Season for Speed Ski GB

Speed Ski GB have started the season with some fantastic results in Canada.

Speed Ski GB had 5 athletes competing in The FIS World Cup, Sun Peaks Canada, sponsored by Subaru. The team was made up of: Nigel Brockton S1, Colin Urquhart S1, Benja Hedley SDH, Tom Horn SDH and Elliot Capper SDH Junior.

Nigel Brockton gained two 6th places in S1; while Benja Hedley gained two 7th places in SDH with Tom Horn right on his heals with two 8th place finishes. Young 15 year Elliot Capper gained two 3rd places in Junior SDH and Colin Urquhart back after a 13 year lay-off gained a new personal best.

The World Cup Speed tour now moves to Scandinavia, where the British athletes are hoping for even more success.

Another Speed Ski GB member Marc Poncin has also been invited by Vars to compete in the World Record attempt on the 12th April.
