Jennifer was born in Glasgow and brought up at Glasgow Ski and Snowboard Centre. Having started on skis, she gave snowboarding a try when she was ten and became hooked.
She is currently in her 2nd year at the University of Strathclyde, studying Forensic and Analytical Chemistry. Jennifer began to compete for the Strathclyde University Snowsports Club (SUSC) in a variety of University competitions and it was these competitions that brought out her enjoyment of racing. So far she has achieved 11 podium finishes, including gold at the Scottish Universities Indoor Snowboard Slalom. She has now become a part-time student to allow more time to train, but will still compete for the university when available.
