Profile - Craig Robinson

Craig started his racing career on the Alpine circuit and was a member of the British Children's team,  England team and British Development Team. During his time on the Development Team Craig injured his knee and needed surgery, forcing him to miss the majority of that season. During rehabilitation Craig first saw the sport of Ski Cross on TV and was instantly hooked. Rather than returning to Alpine skiing, Craig made the switch to Ski Cross on his return to racing.

In the 2007/2008 season Craig had his first taster of Ski Cross competition, racing in a few Europa Cups. Unfortunately, with the dangers of Ski Cross, Craig managed to injure his other knee during qualifying at a Europa Cup but he decided to still race in the heats and achieved his best result of the season: 13^th. Craig then returned home for surgery and was unable to race for almost a year.

During the 2008/2009 season Craig competed on both the World Cup and Europa Cup circuits, with a 35^th place finish at the 2009 World Championships in Japan. In the 2009/2010 season his best results came in Val Thorens, with a 2^nd place and a 5^th place the following week in Megeve at the French National Championships.

Craig's goals for the 2010/2011 season are to break into the top 30 at World Cup, be on the podium at a Europa Cup and finish in the top 16 at the 2011 World Freestyle Championships
