Top Ten Finishes for Start of 13/14 Season for Britain’s Top Alpine Skiers
In their first races of the 2013/14 season, TJ Baldwin and Douglas Crawford achieved seven top ten places between them in the Nevados de Chillan Super G and Super Combined FIS race series on Monday. These were fantastic results for Britain’s top two downhillers in their second and third choice disciplines (SuperG and Super Combi), particularly as many of the Swiss World Cup team were competing at the event.
Of their collection of successful results this week, Dougie said, “Yes we are quite pleased. These were solid results but there is more and better to come."
This is a great start to their Olympic campaign and sets both athletes up well going in to the South American Cup Downhill and Super G race series at La Parva which starts next week – Monday 2nd September.
