Katie Summerhayes nominated for BT Sport Action Woman Award
British Freestyle skier Katie Summerhayes has been nominated for BT Sport Action Woman Award.
The shortlist of 10 is made up of the top British sports women who have produced the most dynamic sports performances this year.
Summerhayes won Silver medal in Silvaplana WC, Switzerland, in February2013, making her the first British female skier to make the World Cup podium in 19 years. After 6 months out recovering from reconstructive knee surgery, and already back on snow, we are excited to see Katie return to the World Cup circuit ahead of Sochi 2014.
Of her nomination Katie said: 'I am so happy to be nominated for the BT Sport Action Womens Award. I didn't expect it at all, so I am so stoked after I just had so much fun last season!'
