Thomas Bankes takes silver in Hohenems

Thomas Bankes took 2nd place in the SBX FIS race in Hohenems, Austria. Sunday's result represents Thomas' best so far this season and forms part of an upward curve in performance.

Thomas had the fastest time in qualifying, and then held the red leaders bib all the way to the final. The race between Thomas and Fabio Colella finished with the talented young Italian only just piping Thomas to the line by half a meter. This was an extremely close race, where either racer could have come out on top.
