Team GB flagbearer Katie Summerhayes put in an impressive performance in the Ski Halfpipe Final at Kuhtai to secure 5th place with a score of 55.00 in her first run and an overall score of 63.00. Summerhayes will be looking to improve on this result when she competes in the Slopestyle event later this week where there are more medals up for grabs. The Slopestyle event has already brought success for Katie where she achieved a podium in Europa Cup earlier this season. In the men's ski halfpipe competition Tyler Harding finished 10th.

In Alpine Skiing, Team GB members Paul Henderson and Rachelle Rogers both did well on Day 1 in Super G with Paul coming 17th and Rachelle 24th. However they both endured a difficult day in the Super Combined event, both failing to finish. This has not knocked their confidence and both athletes are excited to compete in the technical disciplines.

Best of luck to all of Team GB in the remaining events!
