Dave Ryding finishes 2011 with Europa Cup success

Dave Ryding produced his best result to date, finishing 7th in the Europa Cup night event held at Madonna di Campiglio, Italy. Coming off the back of a great result the day before, at the San Vigilio FIS Slalom, where he finished 12th, Dave was starting at bib 40 and managed 26th place after the first run, setting himself up for a good starting position in the second run. In a strong run Dave posted the second fasted time for the second leg and stormed up the rankings to 7th place. He finished the race only 0.40 seconds overall behind the winner, scoring 10 FIS points in the process!
