British Olympic Association Ball

Over 60 British Olympic medallists attended the British Olympic Association Ball on Friday 24th September 2010, presented by BT at The Grosvenor House Hotel. The evening was a great success, with celebrity stars from the worlds of entertainment, music and business, as well as HRH Prince Harry, enjoying this crucial fundraiser for TeamGB. Current British Team athletes Ed Drake (above) and Chemmy Alcott showed their support, as well as ex-British Team athlete Andy Noble.

The event was described by Hello! magazine as 'The Ball of the Year' and was an extremely special night of Olympic celebration. As the British Olympic Association is an independent organisation that relies solely on private funding, events such as these are incredibly important to the organisation, the athletes and the sport, as well as the nation overall in the run-up to London 2012.
