2nd Place for Musgrave in Nowegian National Championships
Musgrave came 2nd today in a fantastic result in Voss, Norway. Racing in the Mens 15K freestyle at the Norwegian National Championships, he was competing in a field boasting the likes of Petter Northug and Thomas Alsgaar, also some of Norways best Nordic skiers, Andrew was only bettered by Martin Sundby which highlights the scale of the achievment. The British Nordic Team member contines to impress and his latest exploits are nothing short of remarkable. This only adds to his already burgeoning reputation.
The result also follows up his historic finishes at the 'Tour de Ski' where Andrew took World Cup points on two occasions, in Oberdorf and Tolbach, the first British skier to do so.
Update from Voss:
Andrew has followed up the 2nd place in 15k free with a 5th at 30k skiathlon. In the classic leg he was 21st, but his skate is so strong now that he skied the 3rd best time over taking a lot of the Norwegian team again. (this is similar to his skiathlon at tour de ski).
