Roy Young
Roy has been head coach on the Cross Country Team for 5 years. During the period the team has progressed from EYO to World Juniors to senior level. 2008 saw the first British interest in World Cup Cross country since 1994. Roy was team leader at Vancouver where the 3 skiers produced a stunning set of results for athletes and even better considering that all 3 were Juniors.
Roy will be working with the Team athletes throughout the winter with major targets being the World Junior and Under 23 Championships and the World Championships. He and the team will be mainly based in Norway and Sweden during the season.
