Mark Lund

Mark Lund has almost thirty years experience in the financial services sector and has operated at Director/CEO level for the last fifteen years in both plc and private businesses in the UK and internationally. He is the former CEO of St James's Place plc and he also had a spell on secondment as the CEO of Virgin Direct and prior to this he was a Director of Henderson Investors plc.

He is now building a career as an independent director. In early 2012 he was appointed by the Cabinet Office to Chair the employee benefit trust at a new mutual business created by the Government, My CSP Ltd. He also sits on the main board of My CSP which administers pensions and benefits for more than 1.5mn civil servants.

Mark is married to Karen, they have three children and live in Shepperton. Mark first put skis on in Aviemore in 1985 when Karen suggested they should have a go on what was meant to be a climbing trip. They have skied every season since and their children have skied since they could walk. Mark's other sporting passion is road cycling and he's also a lifelong supporter of his home town club, Liverpool FC.
