Darcie has risen through the ranks of school racing and National competitions, following in the footsteps of equally successful British Team mates like Chemmy Alcott. Having started as a child under the watchful eye of Kevin Blanks at Sandown Park, Darcie has developed as a natural racer with a desire to ski fast.

After being selected for first the English Schools Teams, World Schools Championships and then the British Children's Team, Darcie switched her training to the elite Team Evolution training facility in Austria, working alongside numerous other national team athletes. With a full programme in place, Darcie flourished, and with a new found technical awareness matching her hard working approach and aggressive tactics, she collected several National Titles, including the coveted British Children's Slalom Championship trophy in her final year as a Child.

Darcie was the only British female skier to attend the Youth Olympic Games in 2013, picking up several top 30 results and capped the season by winning numerous national titles on her way to securing both the Delancey British Junior & British Senior Overall Titles, becoming the youngest ever winner of the Senior event.

As a strong multi-discipline skier, with a top 20 World Ranking for her age in both Super-G & Downhill, Darcie is recognised as one of GBR’s most promising talents. For the next 12 months she will continue to complete her educational studies with a great deal of support from her school, before graduating to compete full time on the Europa Cup Tour.
