She skied and snowboarded with her younger brother James whilst growing up in Switzerland. She began alpine racing, but discovered skicross and freestyle when she entered a Europa Cup race with a French friend on a whim, and found it to be completely awesome. Liz got her World Cup start in 2013 when she was selected to her first Freestyle World Championships, and has been enjoying skicross ever since. Due to unfortunate knee injuries in 2013 and 2017, Liz has had to take a couple of seasons off racing during her time on the team, and is very pleased to be able to compete again and be back on snow after the latter of these injuries. Liz is committed to performing well on the World Cup circuit and representing Great Britain at the highest possible level of competition. In her spare time Liz enjoys surfing and running a small writing business aimed at helping working professionals improve their English, and providing top-notch research papers to academic companies and institutions. She graduated BA & MA from Stanford University in 2016, and lives between the UK, USA and Malta.
