Delancey British Alpine Team

The Delancey British Alpine Ski Team are in St Moritz, Switzerland for the second week of the Alpine World Ski Championships.

Yesterday saw Alex Tilley finish in 30th position after putting down two solid runs in the World Championship GS. Cara Brown, who has only recently come back from a knee injury, qualified for the main race, but yesterday just missed out on the second run finishing in 65th place. Tilley will now race in the Ladies' Slalom on Saturday.

Laurie Taylor qualified in an excellent 17th place for the Men’s GS main race, which takes place this morning. He will also be aiming to qualify for Sunday’s main Slalom race, with qualification taking place on Saturday.

This Sunday Dave Ryding will be looking to continue his recent World Cup form. The Slalom marks the culmination of two weeks of action at the World Championships, and will undoubtedly be an exciting race, with Ryding looking to make history for Great Britain.

In the Men’s event, young gun Alexander Glavatsky-Yeadon put in a great performance to finish in 20th. Murray Buchan finished in 25th place overall and after showing impressive form in training, a hand down cost Pete Speight valuable marks, with him finishing in 29th position.

Billy Morgan is in Los Angeles for this weekend’s Air + Style event. The Big Air event kicks off on Saturday with qualification and finals on Sunday.

Today we see GB Park and Pipe Pathway athletes Glen Ironside, Gabriel Adams and Ethan Smith competing at the Big Air Europa Cup in Götschen, Germany.
