Delancey British Alpine Champs 2016....Entry Closing Soon!

One week until entries close for the Delancey British National Alpine Ski Championships Athletes.

Coaches and parents have just one week left to enter into the Delancey British National Alpine Ski Championships in Tignes, which run from 20th March to 1st April 2016. Snow conditions in the run up to the Championships look very promising with heavy snow falling in Tignes, and more snow forecast. The all mountain conditions should be great and, providing the snow in France stops falling, the piste preparation should be excellent.

The 2016 Senior and Junior Championships will see athletes from the Delancey British Alpine Senior Squad, including current Slalom World Cup contender Dave Ryding, Alex Tilley, Charlie Guest, Cara Brown and Roy Steudle. The Senior and Junior Championships run 20th-27th March.

The 2016 Delancey British National Alpine Ski Children’s Championships will see hundreds of skiers battle it become British Champion and take part in fun, competitive races from 27th March to 3rd April.

This weekend saw GB Park and Pipe athletes in the USA to tackle the elements in Copper Mountain, with heavy snow and high winds making tricky conditions for both the Dew Tour and Rev Tour events taking place.

After a brilliant 2nd place in the jump part of the Dew Tour contest, James ‘Woodsy’ Woods couldn’t quite get in a clean run on the rails, finishing 12th overall. For the girls in the ski contest, Izzy Atkin was on form against the best skiers in the world, securing 4th place overall, with Katie Summerhayes just behind her in 8th. In the snowboard contest at Dew Tour, Katie Ormerod finished in 6th place in the jib contest - unfortunately the jump competition was cancelled due to high winds.

GB Park and Pipe skiers Rowan Cheshire and Madi Rowlands continued to battle the conditions at Rev Tour in their first Half Pipe competition of the season. Rowan showed that she is back on form with a 3rd place podium finish against a strong field, whilst teammate Madi Rowlands finished in 6th position.

This week GB Park and Pipe Snowboarders, Katie Ormerod, Aimee Fuller, Billy Morgan, Jamie Nicholls, Rowan Coultas and Matt McCormick will be taking on the Copper Mountain Big Air World Cup, with qualification beginning on Thursday. Teammates Rowan Cheshire, Madi Rowlands, James Machon, Pete Speight, Murray Buchan and Alexander Yeadon, will all be in action in the Freeski Half Pipe with qualification also due to take place on Thursday.

In the Alpine World Cup, Delancey British Alpine Team athletes Dave Ryding and Alex Tilley both claimed some important World Cup points this weekend in Europe. In Val d’Isere Dave Ryding put in a solid second run to move up six places from run one, and claim 17th place in the World Cup Slalom. Over in Sestriere, Italy, Tilley had great result in the World Cup Slalom, claiming 22nd position yesterday. This was after missing out on the second run of the Giant Slalom on Saturday.

British Nordic Team

Andrew Musgrave was in action for the British Nordic Team at the World Cup in Davos, Switzerland this weekend. Musgrave claimed another excellent finish in the 30km Freestyle on Saturday, finishing in 15th position. He followed this by a 61st in the Sprint Freestyle on Sunday.

Over in Norway, British Nordic's Annika Taylor and Callum Smith were at the Scandinavian Cup in Lillehammer. Annika had an impressive top 30 finish in the 1.3km Sprint Classic qualifiers to take her into the final in which she finished in 31st, followed by a 38th place finish in the 5km Freestyle. Callum picked up points in both the 10km Freestyle and the 1.5km Sprint Classic finishing 74th and 98th respectively.

British Ski Cross

In the first World Cup season for Ski Cross, in Val Thorens, France, Emily Sarsfield didn’t make it through Thursday’s qualifiers, finishing in 20th place, but will now move over to Arosa, Switzerland for the next stage of the Cross Alps Tour. Qualification starts today.

World Cup action in Europe whilst GB Park and Pipe hit Dew Tour & Rev Tour in Colorado

British Delancey Alpine Team

It is a big weekend of Alpine World Cup action for the top two British Delancey Alpine Team athletes, Dave Ryding and Alex Tilley. After his 6th place finish in the Levi World Cup Slalom in November, Dave Ryding will be in Val d’Isere to tackle his next World Cup Slalom this Sunday, with a big contingent of Brits expected to be cheering him on. Over in Italy, Alex Tilley will be looking to build on her performances in Killington, taking on the GS on Saturday and Slalom on Sunday in the Sestriere Alpine World Cup.

British Ski Cross

Today sees the start of the World Cup season for Ski Cross, in Val Thorens with the introduction of the first-ever Cross Alps Tour. Emily Sarsfield kicks off today with qualifiers, followed by two races on Friday and Saturday, before moving on to the next stops on the Cross Alps Tour in Arosa (Switzerland), Montafon (Austria) and Innichen/San Candido (Italy).

The new Cross Alps Tour will bring some never-before-seen rules and features to the Ski Cross World Cup, with the most notable being the “wild card” slots for the World Cup’s top athletes (assurance that the top eight men and the top four ladies as ranked will get a spot in the finals, nomatter what happens in qualification) and also a ‘public’ heat selection where the top qualifying athletes will be given the opportunity to choose their three competitors for the first heat of the next day’s race.

GB Park and Pipe

GB Park and Pipe’s James ‘Woodsy’ Woods and Izzy Atkin will be kicking off their Northern Hemisphere season at the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado, which will also feature teammates Katie Summerhayes and snowboarder Katie Ormerod. They will battle it out in a Slopestyle jumps contest and Slopestyle jib contest. The women are in action on Friday, with Katie Ormerod in the morning and Katie Summerhayes and Izzy in action in the afternoon (local time). The Ski Men’s finals take place on Sunday morning (Sunday afternoon GMT).

The Rev Tour, starting today in Copper Mountain, sees several of the GB Park and Pipe Halfpipe skiers and snowboarders hitting the pipe for the first time this season in competition. For the skiers, Pete Speight, Murray Buchan, Rowan Cheshire and Madi Rowlands are in action, joined by newcomers Connie Brogden and Alexander Glavatsky-Yeadon. The skiers will compete on Saturday, with qualification in the morning, and finals in the afternoon.

Lewis Courtier-Jones will represent GB Park and Pipe in the Snowboard Halfpipe, with qualifications and finals all happening today.

British Nordic

The British Nordic Team is back in World Cup action this weekend, this time in Davos, Switzerland. Both Andrew Musgrave and Andrew Young will be competing in the 30km Freestyle on Saturday and the Sprint Freestyle on Sunday.

Over in Lillehammer at the Scandanavia Cup, Annika Taylor and Callum Smith will both be competing for the British Nordic Team from Friday to Sunday.

It was a successful Saturday night for GB Park and Pipe in Möchengladbach, Germany as they walked away from the third Big Air World Cup of the season with a double podium finish, as Katie Ormerod claimed silver in the women's finals and Billy Morgan took bronze.

After her bronze at the Snowboard Big Air World Cup and Olympic test event in Alpensia, Korea last weekend, Katie Ormerod stepped up to finish 2nd behind Austrian Anna Gasser. Miyabi Onitsuka (JPN) took 3rd. GB Park and Pipe’s Aimee Fuller finished within the top 10, in 9th place.

Ormerod said after her podium finish: "I'm extremely happy to get 2nd at another World Cup Big Air! The standard was really high and I'm stoked to put down my two best runs and also try two different 900s. It's so awesome that two Brits were on the podium at this event with Billy grabbing 3rd place in the men's event as well!"

Billy Morgan was on fire in Germany as he fought hard for his 3rd place finish behind Roope Tonteri (FIN) in 1st place and Jonas Boesiger (SUI). Rowan Coultas claimed 13th place, just missing out on a place in finals, and Jamie Nicholls was 21st overall.

Morgan said after claiming bronze: "I had an epic day riding, it was a lot of fun and getting a podium is the icing on the cake! It's also epic to be up there with Katie, she rode so well."

GB Park and Pipe now head to Colorado, with the first competition being the US Rev Tour in Copper Mountain and the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, which both start later this week.

British Nordic

British Nordic’s Andrew Musgrave had a mixed bag of results in the 3-day Tour in Lillehammer, Norway. After finishing 57th in the Sprint Classic on Friday, Musgrave put in a storming performance in Saturday’s 10km Freestyle to finish in 11th position in a field of 97. He then finished a respectable 29th in the 15km Classic, meaning a 29th place finish overall in the 3-day Tour and bagging some World Cup points.

After yesterday’s concluding race Musgrave said: “A tough day for me today, but still managed to stay in the top 30 and get a few World Cup points. Could have been worse!”

British Aerials Team

Lloyd Wallace clocked a good result at the Aerials Europa Cup in Ruka, Finland on Friday, where he finished in 10th place with a double twisting double (full, full) and triple twisting double (full double-full).

British Snowboard Cross

The end of last week was the Pitztal Ladies Europa Cup in Austria. In the first race Zoe Gillings-Brier finished 15th and then in the second race on Friday, Maisie Potter and Gillings-Brier finished joint 17th with Anna Richardson in 33rd position. Yesterday, Maisie Potter finished 3rd in the Junior FIS races in Pitztal.

Delancey British Alpine Team

For the British Delancey Alpine Team, Charlie Raposo and Nick Moynihan were competing in the GS Europa Cup in Gaellivare, Sweden, but both unfortunately DNF in the first race, and then the second race was cancelled.

Charlie Guest is competing today and tomorrow in the Europa Cup Slalom is in Trysill, Norway, and this weekend sees both Alex Tilley and Dave Ryding in World Cup action.

British Ski Cross

Emily Sarsfield will compete in her first World Cup of the season on Thursday, with the World Cup tour beginning in Val Thorens, France. Sarsfield will be competing in the first ever Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup Cross Alps Tour which, after Val Thoren, goes to Arosa in Switzerland, Montafon in Austria and finally Innichen/San Candido in Italy.

Big Air World Cup heads to Germany for GB Park and Pipe & British Nordic in Lillehammer for second World Cup

In what is shaping up to be a busy season for the GB Park and Pipe snowboarders, Katie Ormerod, Aimee Fuller, Billy Morgan, Rowan Coultas and Jamie Nicholls head to Moenchengladbach, Germany for the next Big Air World Cup, the second of three Big Air World Cups which form part of a City Big Air ‘Super Series’. Katie Ormerod will be looking to match her third place finish in last weekend’s Big Air World Cup and Olympic test event in Alpensia, Korea.

The British Nordic Team are also in World Cup action this weekend with Andrew Musgrave looking to capitalise on his brilliant start to the season after his top 10 finish in last weekend’s 15km Classic in the Ruka World Cup. He will be joined by teammate Andrew Young at the Lillehammer World Cup, where the schedule started today with the Sprint Classic, followed by the 10km (Men) and 5km (Women) Freestyle and finishing off with the 10km (Women) and 15km Classic and overall races. Cross Country Performance Squad athlete James Clugnet, and Senior Squad athlete Sam Cairns competed today at the 15km Classic FIS race in Premanon-Les Tuffes finishing 20th and 23rd respectively.

For the British Delancey Alpine Team, it is a weekend of Europa Cup, FIS and CIT races.

Following the Levi Slalom Europa Cup races this week where Charlie Raposo finished in 45th in the first Slalom, Raposo and Nick Moynihan will be competing in the GS Europa Cup in Gaellivare, Sweden. The first race is Saturday with the second GS on Sunday.

Charlie Guest is in Trysill, Norway competing in the Europa Cup Slalom. The two Slalom races take place on Monday and Tuesday.

Delancey Alpine Team athlete Laurie Taylor finished a well deserved first in yesterday's Haus im Ennstal FIS GS races scoring a PB, while Billy Major finished 19th yesterday and 14th today. Nicole Ritchie and Alice Macaulay are in Val Thorens competing in the FIS GS races and CIT Slalom races. Ella Still, Jess Anderson, Abi Bruce and Olivia Ward are in Pass Thurn competing in two FIS Slalom races on Saturday and Sunday. Also in action are Iain Innes and Sofia Iglina who will be competing in the Slalom races in Arvidsjaur in Sweden on Saturday and Sunday. Honor Clissold returned from injury with a 4th and 6th in the Bormio GS races this week, and she scored a PB in slalom in Santa Caterina Slalom.

Britain’s top Aerials athlete, Lloyd Wallace is currently in Ruka at the Europa Cup opener of the season and finished 10th in today's event.

This week in the Pitztal Ladies Europa Cup Zoe Gillings-Brier finished 15th Wednesday's race and 17th yesterday. In yesterday's event, Maisie Potter joined Zoe in 17th place, with Anna Richardson finishing 33rd.

Park & Pipe Alpine Nordic Telemark Ski Cross

GB Park and Pipe snowboarder Katie Ormerod opened up a successful weekend for British Ski and Snowboard as she claimed 3rd position in the Snowboard Big Air World Cup in Alpensia, Korea, a PyeongChang Olympic test event. Team-mate Aimee Fuller clinched a respectable 11th place in the Women’s Big Air following her 4th place at the Milan Big Air World Cup last week. In the Men’s competition, challenging a world-class field, Billy Morgan finished in 6th place, Rowan Coultas in 8th position. Matt McCormick placed 30th after landing a clean run in his first ever World Cup. This Friday and Saturday sees the next Big Air event in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

Ormerod said after her win: “I'm super happy to get bronze at the Olympic test event. Especially as the standard of riding was the highest it's been at any Big Air contest and I landed both the runs I wanted."

Following Ormerod’s podium finish, Delancey Alpine Team skier Alex Tilley put in a strong performance in the GS at the World Cup in Killington, USA, on Saturday, finishing in a brilliant 21st position against a strong field on a challenging course. She unfortunately had a DNF on the first run of Sunday’s Slalom, also in Killington. The next World Cup for Tilley will be in Sestriere, Italy, with the GS on Saturday 10th and Slalom on Sunday 11th December.

Sunday saw a fantastic performance from Andrew Musgrave in the opening Cross Country World Cup in Ruka, Finland. He took 10th place in a field of 98 athletes in the Men’s 15km Classic, a promising start to the season. In the other Cross Country races, British Nordic skier Annika Taylor finished 61st in the Women’s Sprint Classic on Saturday and 65th in the Women’s 10km Classic on Sunday. Teammate Callum Smith finished 77th in the Men’s Sprint Classic and 84th in the 15km Classic. The next World Cup begins this Friday in Norway, running throughout the weekend in Lillehammer.

For the British Telemark team, Jasmin Taylor put in two impressive performances to claim 4th and 6th in the two Ladies’ Sprint races and 5th in the Parallel Sprint at the first FIS Telemark World Cup of the 2016/17 season in Hintertux, Austria. Teammate Tara Parks claimed 9th and 13th in the two Sprints and 9th in the Parallel Sprint. For the men, Louis Hatchwell had the best result with 9th in the Parallel Sprint, after his 18th place finish in the first Sprint race (and a DNF in the second Sprint). Jasper Taylor finished 17th in the Parallel Sprint, 20th in the first Sprint race and 19th in the second Sprint. Alec Dixon finished 17th in the Parallel Sprint and 27th and 30th in the two Sprint races.

British Telemark Team

GB Telemark Team Captain, Louis Hatchwell said after the opening Sprint race: “Today’s Sprint has been a great opening tester for the British Squad. Newcomer Tara Parks, stormed into 9th in her first ever World Cup and Jasmin Taylor surprised no one and ripped into 4th after a blistering 2nd run, the fastest of the day. For the boys, Alec Dixon showed some of his best skiing today, really finding form in run two. Jasper Taylor vaulted up the leaderboard after putting down the 11th fastest time in the second run and I came 18th and got a lifetime best.”

For the GB Park and Pipe Pathway skiers, Chris McCormick was on form in the Europa Cup Slopestyle in Stubai, Austria, this weekend. After qualifying through to finals, he finished in 10th position in a large and competitive field. Joe Hides just missed out on the finals and unfortunately Monty Wright crashed.

Ski Cross athlete Emma Peters, finished in an impressive 12th position in the Pitztal NC race on Saturday in Austria after starting 37th. Peters went on to finish 27th in the EC races on Sunday.

Coming Up...

This week sees Delancey Alpine athletes Charlie Raposo and Nick Moynihan competing in the Levi Slalom Europa Cup races on Tuesday and Wednesday in Finland.

Britain’s top Aerials athlete, Lloyd Wallace is competing at Ruka Europa Cup on Thursday and Friday.

British SBX athletes will be competing in Pitztal Europa Cup on Wednesday and Thursday and will be joined by Olympian Zoe Gillings-Brier, who is competing in her first event since the birth of her daughter this summer.

Big World Cup Weekend for British Ski and Snowboard

This weekend marks the opening of World Cup competitions for both the British Nordic Team in Ruka, Finland and the British Telemark Team in Hintertux, Austria. The GB Park and Pipe snowboarders are in World Cup action at the Big Air Olympic test event in Alpensia, South Korea whilst Alex Tilley is in competing in the Alpine World Cup in Killington, USA.

The British Nordic Team will be hoping to capitalise on a good summer and autumn of training and competitions to make their mark on the World Cup circuit. Competing in Ruka for Great Britain will be Andrew Musgrave, Andrew Young, Callum Smith and Annika Taylor. Saturday will see the Men’s and Women’s Classic Sprint; and the Men’s Classic 15km and Women’s Classic 10km will take place on Sunday.

The GB Park and Pipe snowboarders have made a long journey to South Korea to test out the Big Air. At 49m it is the largest Big Air ramp in the world and will be used for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Big Air. After her fourth place in the Milan Big Air two weeks ago, Aimee Fuller will be looking to go one better and secure a podium in Alpensia. She is joined by in-form Katie Ormerod who finished second in last week’s Pleasure Jam. For the men, Billy Morgan will be joined by teammates Rowan Coultas and Matt McCormick. Men’s Qualification will be tomorrow, with Finals on Saturday, whilst both the Ladies’ Qualifiers and Finals will take place on Saturday.

Delancey British Alpine Team athlete Alex Tilley is in Vermont to compete in this weekend’s Alpine World Cup in Killington. After a good opening GS World Cup in Sölden, Tilley had a DNF in Levi last weekend. She will be looking for solid results in both the GS on Saturday and Slalom on Sunday.

Six athletes will be in action for the British Telemark team in the Hintertux World Cup this weekend. Jasmin Taylor will be looking to continue her impressive performances from last season and take to the podium on this season’s World Cup circuit. She is joined in the female races by Tara Parks. For the men, competing for Great Britain will be Louis Hatchwell, Jasper Taylor, Fred Thomas and Alec Dixon. Friday, Saturday and Sunday sees two women’s and two men’s Sprint races followed by a Parallel Sprint for both.

The GB Park and Pipe skiers will be competing in the Europa Cup in Stubai, Austria, this weekend. Tackling the slopestyle course on Saturday will be Monty Wright, Mike Rowlands, Joe Hides, Chris McCormick and Harris Booth.

Northern Hemisphere competition season continues with Katie Ormerod taking second in Pleasure Jam

GB Park and Pipe snowboarder Katie Ormerod claimed 2nd place in this weekend’s Pleasure Jam, after the contest was changed from a slopestyle event to a rail-jam due to high winds in the Superpark Dachstein.

The Slopestyle World Snowboard Tour season opener saw Katie Ormerod show her prowess on the rails and beat off competition from the world-class field to secure a podium finish.

British Nordic Team skiers Andrew Musgrave, Andrew Young and Annika Taylor were all in action this weekend in Beitostolen, Norway for the FIS races. Musgrave took the best results of the weekend, finishing 5th in the 15km Classic, 6th in the 15km Freestyle and 19th in the 1.5km Sprint. In the same race, Andrew Young came 27th. Annika Taylor had a best result of 20th in the 10km Freestyle. She also claimed 25th in the 1.3km Sprint and 34th in the 10km Classic. In the Bruksvallarna FIS Races in Sweden, Callum Smith finished with a top 40 in the 10km Freestyle.

It was a busy weekend for members of the Delancey British Alpine Team who were in action in FIS races this weekend. In Levi, Finland, Nick Moynihan finished 20th in the Slalom on Friday with Charlie Raposo finishing 34th in the Slalom yesterday. The FIS GS races took place today, with Raposo finishing 6th in the first event and Moynihan coming in 34th.

In Pfelders, Zak Vinter secured an impressive 7th in one of the NJR Slalom races. Alicja Krahelski claimed two good results in NJR races, with a 13th and 26th in the two Slaloms. Megan Riley claimed 26th and 35th. Pfelders held FIS Slalom races today with British athletes Alicja Krahelski and Robert Poth both finishing 17th in their respective races.

Nicole Ritchie claimed a 21st and 22nd in two FIS Slalom races in Kaabdalis.Laurie Taylor, Billy Major, Fraser Middleton and Kieran Troup were in action in the PassThurn FIS Slalom. Middleton claimed the best British results with a 32nd & 36th.

Dave Ryding Alpine Park & Pipe Snowboard Big Air

Delancey British Alpine Team skier Dave Ryding had the race of his life yesterday to finish a career-best 6th place in the World Cup Slalom in Levi, Finland.

Lying in 4th place after the first run, Ryding looked impressive, and put in a solid second run to claim 6th overall, his first World Cup top 10 finish. Ryding’s result is the best result from a British Alpine skier since Alain Baxter took fourth in a Slalom World Cup in 2001. The first place podium spot was taken by Austria’s Marcel Hirscher, with team mate Michael Matt second, and Manfred Mölgg from Italy third.

Ryding said after the race: “I am delighted. I am sure no-one expected a Brit in the top six. I have been working really hard all summer and specifically working on my steep sections. I have been skiing well and performing in training, but this was better than I expected. I really had to focus before the second run, and I knew I had to give it full gas to stay near the top.

“I was aiming to get a solid top 15, so 6th is amazing. I couldn’t have done it without my coaches Tristan and Ali, and without the support of BSS and my sponsors. I am now going to take a break before the next World Cup in Val d’Isere in mid-December.”

In the women’s World Cup race on Saturday in Levi, Alex Tilley unfortunately skied out on the first run of the Slalom, meaning she didn’t get the chance at a second run. Tilley now heads over to the US where she will prepare for the next GS and Slalom World Cup in Killington, Vermont.

There were also world-class performances from GB Park and Pipe snowboarders and skiers over the weekend at the Big Air World Cup in Milan. Aimee Fuller claimed the best finish of all the GB Park and Pipe riders, with an impressive 4th place in the Ladies Snowboard Big Air final on Saturday, a World Cup personal best. Katie Ormerod just missed out on finals, but finished 10th overall.

Fuller said after the event: “Today was great. I loved the atmosphere in the stadium and the jump was really good. It is my first scaffold jump and I am stoked with how I rode. To get fourth is a brilliant start to the season.”

In the men’s Snowboard competition, Billy Morgan threw down some impressive tricks and was mixing it up with the medal contenders. But after overshooting his third jump, he eventually finished in 7th, a solid start to the season. Rowan Coultas and Jamie Nicholls didn’t qualify for finals, and finished in 20th and 24th respectively.

In the Ski Big Air, GB Park & Pipe’s Katie Summerhayes and Madi Rowlands finished in 8th and 9th place respectively, in the first of three City Big Air ‘Super Series’. The next stops in the series are in Mönchengladbach, Germany and Quebec City, Canada.

Milan Big Air kicks off City ‘Super Series’ and Ryding & Tilley take on Levi Slalom World Cup

This weekend GB Park and Pipe snowboarders and skiers will descend on Milan as they start their journey towards the 2018 Winter Olympics, whilst Alpine skiers Dave Ryding and Alex Tilley travel to Levi to compete in the first FIS Slalom World Cup of the winter.

With Snowboard Big Air due to make its debut at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics in 2018, Katie Ormerod, Aimee Fuller, Billy Morgan, Jamie Nicholls and Rowan Coultas will start a packed winter of competition as they set out to qualify for the Games. Snowboard Big Air will take place on Saturday 12th November, with 10 men and 6 women proceeding from qualification to finals, with finals in a three-run, best two count format. The finals start at 19.00 CET.

GB Park & Pipe’s Katie Summerhayes and Madi Rowlands begin a historic season for Ski Big Air as it will be the first time a World Cup Globe will be awarded in the discipline, despite the event not featuring in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Katie and Madi will be in action on Friday 11th November with finals due to take place at 19.00 CET.

The Milan Big Air will serve not only as the first Northern Hemisphere’s FIS World Cup of the season, but also as the first of three City Big Air ‘Super Series’ events which will see the World’s best freeskiers and snowboarders crowned following stops in Milan, Moenchengladbach and Quebec City.

Over in Finland, Delancey British Alpine Team skiers Dave Ryding and Alex Tilley will be looking to make an impact at the first FIS Slalom World Cup of the season in Levi, which returns for its 10th year in the calendar.

Ryding, who starts the season ranked 22nd in Slalom, will be in action on Sunday 13th November, looking to better his impressive 15th place finish in last year’s World Cup Finals and make an impact in the Alpine World Championships in St Moritz in February 2017. Tilley, who just missed out on qualifying for the second run of the FIS World Cup GS opening race in Soelden, will tackle the women’s Slalom in Levi this Saturday 12th November, looking to put down two solid runs.
