Profile - Katie Ormerod

Structured coaching with the British Freestyle Snowboarding Team and the Roxy European Team  has accelerated Katie`s rate of progression to a level where she is now breaking into the international scene.

Katie competed in her first senior sloestyle event earlier this year, the 5* TTR Roxy Snow Pro at Saalbach Hinterglemm, qualifying through to the night final where she finished in 9^th place overall out of a field of world class international riders.

More success was to follow at the Junior BEO in Laax where she podiumed twice securing 2^nd and 3^rd places in half pipe and slopestyle respectively,

Katie concluded the 2012 season in grand style at the British Championships in Laax by smashing the Slopestyle and big air events to become British Champion in both disciplines.

Katie has just returned from New Zealand where she has been training with the British Team and now cant wait for 2013 season to start.
