BSS Members in London 2012 Olympic Ambition Programme

During the London 2012 Games the British Olympic Association also launched the Olympic Ambition Programme that would focus on preparing our athletes for future experiences as Olympians and Team Leaders. The aim of the programme is to provide inspiration and knowledge to help the athletes as they develop their international careers. The participants travelled to the Loughborough training camp and London for the Games. They experienced the Olympic "pressures" and the exciting environment many Olympians are currently immersed in at London 2012. Another highlight also came as the athletes met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry at the Torch Relay handover outside Buckingham Palace.
The British Olympic Association announced at the beginning of July the list of 130 athletes and 56 coaches that would be taking part in the Ambition programme. These came from across 44 sport disciplines and included British Ski and Snowboard's very own TJ Baldwin and Posey Musgrave amongst others. The Ambition Programme hopes to provide solid and inspiring preparation for athletes looking to compete at Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
