New BSS Performance Director Appointed

British Ski and Snowboard are delighted to announce that Mr Paddy Mortimer has joined them in the role of Performance Director.

Paddy brings with him over twenty years of experience in the high performance sport's industry and has been with several top sport organisations and technology companies, such as Chelsea FC, West Bromwich Albion FC, Leicester Tigers, UKathletics, England Rugby League and a host of institute sports.

Paddy will be responsible for mapping out the continuation of our International and National performance development, assisting, where appropriate, the acquisition of high performance support across all British FIS and Olympic disciplines. For some disciplines this will consist of advising and assisting the existing well established and well run voluntary or semi-professional units. For others this will involve reviewing current best practice to identify the required processes and services for BSS to regain our position as a leading winter sport.
