BSS pay tribute to Frank McCusker

British Ski and Snowboard are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Frank McCusker, and pass on our thoughts and sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues. He will be missed by the entirety of the snowsports community.

Frank was a great friend both to the organisation and to the British athletes, and was always a cheerful and encouraging figure at the British Alpine Championships in Tignes where he presented the Ski Club of Great Britain trophy.

Frank was a driving force behind the establishment of the British Snowsports Fund, and demonstrated a passionate belief in the need to support both grassroots engagement in snowsports and our elite athletes. We will always remain thankful for his help and support.

The funeral for Frank McCusker will take place on Thursday 6th July at 1.30pm in The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Adderbury, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX17 3LP.

There is a request for family flowers only but donations to Warwickshire Air Ambulance, The British Heart Foundation and Katharine House Hospice can be made by following this link and choosing Frank McCusker from the drop down menu http://www.eddfrostanddaughters.co.uk/tributes-and-donations/
